hseqa-01
internal hseq auditing skill training
INTRODUCTION
Internal
auditing is fundamental
to any improvement initiative. The OHSAS 18001:2007 / ISO14001:2004 /
ISO9001:2008 standard requires that an organisation conduct internal
audits to
determine the effectiveness of its HSEQ management system. Trained
auditors
must carry out these audits. However, most internal audits carried out
provide
little improvement benefits and are conducted merely for compliance.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
This 1-day
course is designed to
take participants through all stages of a HSEQ management system
internal audit
to emphasize the challenges in conducting an internal audit and the
resulting
business value. Through practical exercises, participants will prepare
for,
conduct, and report on an internal audit. From this experience, course
participants will learn how to accurately interpret and audit against
the OHSAS
18001:2007 / ISO14001:2004 / ISO9001:2008 requirements. Course
participants
will also learn how to develop an effective internal audit programme,
establish
